Speaking at the launch of her booklet The Framing of Michael McKevitt, in Buswells hotel, Dublin yesterday, Marcella Sands also announced the official launch of the Michael McKevitt Justice Campaign. Ms Sands stated: “What is taking place today is not only the launch of my booklet “The Framing of Michael McKevitt” but also the launch of ‘The Michael McKevitt Justice Campaign.’  

Among the panel of guests were eminent human rights activist s Mons. Raymond Murray., Fr, Desmond Wilson, Fr. Joe McVeigh, and Ms. Noelle Ryan who chaired the meeting. Ms. Ryan opened the proceedings by quoting from Pastor Niemoeller, WWII political prisoner.

Members of the Relatives for Justice traveled from Belfast to show their solidarity and pledge their support to the campaign. Also included in the audience were representatives from the PANA and Trade Unions. In addition the Sands and McKevitt families were present.
